[MA-SOC] December holiday party?

Come to think of it, several years ago ('04 or '05) a certain MA'er had his
birthday party at one of the JAPAS karaoke places -- I think it was JAPAS
38.  If I've got the right one, here's the website:

It was a small group and we were in one of the private party rooms, which
was a blast.  Nonstop karaoke on our own screen (some songs were personally
selected by the b'day fanboy); an in-house intercom so we could order bar
snacks brought right down to the room; and some great drinks (which could've
also been brought down to the room, but one of the guests was under 21 so we
had to get them at the bar and bring them downstairs ourselves).  And we
could be as noisy as we wanted, because the rooms were apparently
soundproofed.

It occurs to me that, as Danny suggested, we could go to JAPAS 38 or a
similar place and it might be kinda fun, especially if we could chip in for
a larger private party room.  Something to think about, perhaps....
