For some shows, 10 episodes is but a blip.
Imagine if Scooby Doo were an anime.
By the 10th episode, it would be revealed that the kids are really
travelling the country by van in search of some ancient artifact. They
are being paid by some powerful but benevolent patron. They get the
artifact but Shaggy is killed in the process. In the next couple of
episodes, they find out that their patron has evil purposes for the
artifact. And now they are on the run from an evil powerful man. By
episode 20, they're wishing for the "good ole days" when they used to
tour the country in a van solving mysteries. The last six episodes
would be the final battle for their freedom. The Mystery Machine
transforms into a giant fighting robot as they attack the fortress of
the evil powerful man. Of course, in the process the Fred-Daphne-Velma
love triangle would be resolved as Daphne finally picks who she really
loves.
But i guess if they did that, there wouldn't be 275 episodes that it has today.
