Just wondering, why do you guys meet on Wednesday?
Is it just so that everyone can sit together? Or is it for something else?
I always felt Fridays or Saturdays are better because you could schedule other things like dinner or late lunch to go along with it.

Subject: [MA-SOC] CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA - 7 p.m. Wed. the 21st
OK.... we've had three votes so far, and each of them gave their first
choice as 7 p.m. on the 21st. I wanted to withhold my own vote until I got some
responses, so now I can officially state that this showing would be my first
choice as well. (And the $5 Bargain Day admission certainly helps!)
So let's make it official -- we'll be seeing the 7 p.m. screening of CHANDNI
CHOWK TO CHINA on Wednesday 21 January. Theater info is as follows:
The Imaginasian
239 East 59th Street
(north side of 59th Street,
between Second & Third Aves.)
NYC 10022-1403
Phone: (212) 371-6682
To get decent seats, let's meet *promptly at 6:30 p.m.* in the lobby of The
Imaginasian.... or just outside the theater in case they're not yet letting
people in.
IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO ORDER ADVANCE TIX ONLINE because of the theater's
limited space and the film's limited distribution. To do so, go directly to
The Imaginasian page at the MovieTickets.com site, at this URL:
_http://tinyurl.com/6uxdhe_ (http://tinyurl.com/6uxdhe)
When you get to that page, be sure to change the date field to WED, JAN. 21,
2009. Then purchase your tix for the 7 p.m. showing.
So far we have 5 attendees: Michelle, Clyde, LTF (a friend of mine),
Richard, and myself. If anyone else would like to join us for some Bollywood Kung
Fu fun, RSVP so we can look for you 6:30 p.m. at The Imaginasian. The more
the merrier!

To possibly locate and recognize the Grand High Exalted Organizer, on
Wednesday, 21 January 2009, the Grand High Exalted Organizer shall likely be a
short, plump, middle-aged nerd, who is a female of Ashkenazi Jewish descent, with
short curly hair, glasses, and no moustache, possibly carrying an overloaded
shoulder bag and several books. Or one could possibly glance at a cool
photo of the Grand High Exalted Organizer's favorite cephalopod at this URL (just
for the heck of it):
