sapiens well over five decades, and  believe me, it gets plenty tiring. Hiding 
the photophores is the  toughest part, especially at night when those 
nictitating membranes are hard to  control -- if I had a nickel for every time I 
heard, "Where the f*** is that  sickly green light coming from?", I'd be a rich  
Whatever-It-Is-I-Am.
 
Alas, you're right -- we've been getting bad press for several  centuries 
now.... damn that Hokusai and his twisted fantasies! Fortunately,  we Higher 
Mollusks have a growing cadre of supporters all over the world  dedicated to 
refuting the slanderous accusations of rabid anti-cephalites  and Vertebrate Power 
fanatics. When you get the chance, be sure to check  out TONMO.com -- I think 
it will restore your faith in mammalian bipeds (the  smart ones, anyway).
