What are you talking about? GI Joe was a fun campy movie.
It sure had it's cheesy cornball sequences but what did you expect from a cartoon from the 80's.
The movie was big, dumb, and fun, and that's what I expected from the movie. About the only thing I didn't like is what they did with the Baroness
I had some misgivings about the suits, and for the time that they were on-screen, it was fine. I had no complaints.
End of the day I enjoyed the movie. It's got the explosions, Snake
Eyes being his bad ass self, the story was lame yet it was just enough to
get things moving. There wasn't much slowdown in-between the action
sequences. It gave enough time for the audience to recover and come
down from the action high before throwing everyone into another action
scene.
Fight choreography was well put together. The Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadow fights were enjoyable.

I won't spoil it for everyone, but I did go to see it yesterday and it is
worse than you probably thought it would be. The best actor is Snake Eyes,
who doesn't speak. And that is kind of ruined by the stupid lips they added
to his costume. Seriously, I was getting Batman and Robin bat nipple
flashbacks it was so bad to see. The worst actor...
Dennis Quaid. Forget not even trying, I'd put money on him actively
sabotaging the movie. If the script wasn't so bad that is.
The fight choreography was also bad. It even failed as an action movie. I
went into it expecting horrible dialogue and plot, but hoping for decent
action. I didn't get what I was hoping for.
