[ACML] RFID

This is far less intrusive than the GPS unit most of you have in your cell
phones already :)

This system only works by tapping the tag against the sensor to see if it
goes beep. It can't continually track your location. I am currently carrying
four such cards/dongles for various locations. Three of them are generic
(everyone's dongle has the same ID code), and the other is user-specific
(metro pass).

If you can control your venue (like at a convention center), you only need
machines at point-of-entry, to make sure only valid tags are getting in. The
only reason to go for the more expensive user-specific tags is to be able to
revoke certain tags during the con, which doesn't seem worth the extra
expense.
