In 2006 (our first big year) our tech staff was all a bunch of Linux junkies. As a result the video rooms opened five hours late. Their given reason was that they need to recompile M-Player for DVD support. Apparently they decided it was a good idea to dual install Gentoo onto all my machines (despite our video room babysitters being made up mostly of untrained volunteers). My thoughts at the time were "But DVD's work on that computer... you just have to double-click."
