I have to agree with this.  Yes, it was laughably aweful, so much so that EVERYONE had to see it... which means that EVERYONE saw a commercial for your convention and knows you're out there now.  

 

My con was the same weekend, and at one point I was chilling in the bar (which was packed with otaku types) and the whole place spontaneously started doing the commercial (with plenty of additions, such as bukakke, subsidized dating, cogals, tentacles, etc.).  It was fun, funny, and a good time!  We all work hard to make sure our own attendees are having fun, somehow you helped our cons attendees have a good time too!
