[ACML] Floatacon?

This was posted on our convention website forum who is the same person
that is spamming on other forums:

"The ship details can't be released until early next year, by then it
will either be sold out or canceled.

The paypal thing is a real heartburn. If I send a refund after sixty
days then paypal will charge me and there is no way I can absorb the
fees for, what could be, several hundred thousand dollars. That's why
I recommend paying by check."

This makes me cringe to read. I hope no one actually pays the $860
asking price until some better guarantees are in place. Otherwise, an
analogy about an iceberg ahead sounds more plausible.
