I've heard of fandom events on cruise ships before but not dedicated
chartered events.  Considdering typical attendance at a first year con, I
don't think they can fill this ship.

"Also, the cruise line is saying that they have to handle all sales and will
take 25% off the top."

And that's when every possible dealer lost interest.

This just seems like a very poorly thought out idea.
