RE: Actually, no. Anime Oasis barely had anyone at
their convention during their first year.  Most of the
people who attended were either staffers or GOHs
(seamstresses, cosplaying groups), and maybe 30%
(rough count) were attendees, but that was it.  They
didn't give themselves enough time for publicity, and
because of that, they had a low turnout.  Fortunately,
I am happy to announce that the turnout for this
year's AO was a hit.  Because of that, it's possible
that AO will actually have a GOH from Japan for 2006. :)
